I find it a bit painful on the ball of the foot when I put fall weight or walk on it, perhaps I have the same problem as Debbie. :( Thanks for explaining the toe exercises in detail. ... Wow, yours was definitely more intense than mine. I had a distal chevron osteotomy for both my bunions (I have one on each side). I think it's one of the most common types of WB surgery done, but since I have very thin/fragile bones, I really can't put any weight on it otherwise I risk breaking the osteotomy.
