really worried that my big toe will never hit the floor again even after much exercising.
Sorry it took so long for you but now I have hope that all will be better down the road.
I'm wearing soft sketcher type shoes that are okay, but probably not the best support.

I'm 2nd week now & the time has draggggged, even tho I have books, mags, laptop, & various hand projects @ my elbow. All I can think is the technique of the surgeon has a lot to do with recovery. Today I went to my Lupus Dr. and he was worried about the swelling even more than the podiatrist. So they talked and they are putting me on Celebrix(SP) and he was also worried about the infection that I had before might have gone to the bone. Xrays tomorrow at the podiatrist. They are also worried about nerve damage.But yes they have tried the ice compression boot... (8 replies)
