... Thanks for the responses so far everyone! I will definitely plan to keep my leg elevated for as long as possible. I think changing shoes after the ceremony/pictures on my wedding day is probably a good idea as well. I have an appointment with a specialist this week and hope to learn more! (5 replies)

... Distort the image of the MRI?? I've never heard of that....When I was having to get opinions as to what to do about my back after my car accident, I was asked to get MRI pictures. I was shown comparrison MRI pictures....WITH screws in them....They weren't distorted and neither was the rest of the picture. It was *very* clear actually. (24 replies)

Maybe there could also be pictures of what a foot normally looks like right after surgery, so people have an idea of what normal looks like and pictures of what an infected foot looks like. ...
