The recommended surgery to correct this is Lapidus Arthrodesis with mini external fixation (pins that stick out top of foot). Has anyone had this surgery? I was told to not heel walk for the first three days, only when I needed to go to the toilet, etc, after that I had to heel walk with crutches and I only had the left foot done.I also had to to the ankle exercsies and manually move my other toes. Keller vs. Fusion
