... Hey Roz, I'm not sure how many post op appointments you'll have - it depends on how much you have done & how quickly you heal and are comfortable. For me appointments were every week for the first 4, then every other week for appointments. XRAY wise I had xray's immediately after surgery, week 1 & then week 4. I'm assuming then again on week 8. ... KatieFeet - sounds to me like you are doing a LOT for only five days post-op! I had a somewhat similar surgery done (but no neuromas) - 4 incisions - on May 1, but I am much older than you and I'm sure that makes a big difference. I was told to be mostly non-weight-bearing for almost two weeks. Doctor said I could get up (with the boot and crutches) to go to the bathroom... (2 replies)

... Eyelure correct I did have a bilateral bunionectomy at 19. My left foot he did I think called a cross cut and basically broke the big toe and repositioned it. My right foot at 19 was not as bad as the left so they just shaved the bone, no cross cut.
