... I think you should be able to go back to work after 6 weeks. Who knows, you may be fine after 4 weeks. Follow your surgeons post-op instructions exactly. You didn't mention which procedure you'll be having but it sounds like most people are in a walking boot around 4-6 weeks unless they have other issues as well. My mom had a bunion and 4 hammertoes fixed and was non-weight... (17 replies)

... At first I'd have many a day, then a couple a day, then every couple of days and then I realized I hadn't had any in a while. Since you're in a boot maybe your surgery was more invasive than mine and your zingers will last a little longer. I don't think I'd be too concerned at this point in the process. ... (3 replies)

Every time I need to get up to get something off the printer, or to talk to someone, I cringe. But others have an easier time....all depends on your age, your... (5 replies)

... Unless you were instructed to do so, do not remove the bandage. They will do that when you go to get the sutures removed. Usually around 2 weeks. Use frozen peas or one of the gel ice packs, formed to your foot to ice it. You may have to tape it on or wrap a bandage around it to hold it in place. (3 replies)
