... Hi Deb, Well, I am STILL going to my podiatrist! In fact, I just had an appointment this past week. I did the physical therapy for 6 weeks (for my ankle, which was nearly blown out due to my overcompensating for the sore foot). The PT did what she could and then got to a point where it wasn't helping anymore. Right now, my ankle is pretty good, but now my toe is swollen!!... (8 replies)

... Patience is something I was not born with. I want this to be over with now. I don't know yet how many more doc appts I'll have. I have also been walking on the treadmill for about 10-15 minutes at a time (very slowly). I'm hoping that will help the range of motion in my toes. I can't believe you can wear a dress shoe. ... Hhhmm....I think everyones experiences are different. I am 11 weeks post op from a bunionectomy (chevron) and am extremely pleased. The pain was not bad at all. Keeping it elevated the first week is important. I went back to work on the 10th day....part time for a week then full time. This weekend I was on the treadmill.
