... Inquisitiveman: You have just begun to exercise your toe, don't panic. Keep doing the exercises and you will see progress. Once you are in a sneaker and are allowed to walk small distances, focus on using the proper gait. Roll off the toes, and don't be put off by some discomfort. I saw my consultant in May too and booked my operation now as it worked well with my 2 children - didn't occur to me that christmas was also just round the corner so now franically online shopping! ... Ditto PPs, are you doing your toe exercises? I don't think I was completely comfortable trying to curl my toe downwards on my own without the exercises until about 3-4 months post op. It takes time to get back to where you were pre-surgery. (4 replies)

... Hi, I had my Austin 10/2 and have been amazed at how quickly I am gaining mobility. I used crutches for like 2-4 days before feeling comfortable enough to start putting pressure on air boot.
