I am sorry to hear you are suffering so. However, I think I can relate.
I've had several foot reconstructive surgeries in the last 10 yrs. One was in 2008 to do a bunion repair/toe fusion. I had the hardware removed in 7/09 and apparently developed a bone spur which the surgeon shaved down during hardware removal.
