... The problem in the US is that bunion surgery has very little monetary return for most orthopaedic surgeons which is why they , for lack of better words, "pawn" it off to podiatrists. That said, podiatrists do not have nearly the same rigour nor training in surgery as orthopaedic surgeons. ... (2 replies)
