... Wow, yours was definitely more intense than mine. I had a distal chevron osteotomy for both my bunions (I have one on each side). I think it's one of the most common types of WB surgery done, but since I have very thin/fragile bones, I really can't put any weight on it otherwise I risk breaking the osteotomy. My last appointment to my local GP was when I was 14 to discuss surgery to remove them, although she talked me out of it by saying "although they won't get better, they shouldn't get any worse".. that's not been the case. ...
