My big toe was bent probably towards 2pm on my right... (0 replies)
... Hi All, Thanks so much for continuing to tell your stories. I had my 2 week post-op check-up with the nurse and at first found myself barely able to squint at the damage as the original dressings were removed. ... Wow, you are right to call the Dr. and find out why you are in so much pain. My shoe is just like yours and about two inches high. I've been walking with a sock on the other foot and it does slow me down, but it's going ok. Where is most of the pain coming from when you walk? ... Thanks Star! You will be so happy you are doing the pre-surgery planning. It will make it so much easier for everyone when you return home to heal, especially YOU who will be able to relax! ... Well I'm not walking on my foot, I'm still in a boot for another two-three weeks, but it's not a metal boot! I've never heard of that? Mine's made of plastic/foam. I had my first post-op appointment yesterday and was surprised to see I had minimal bruising (not like the right foot!) and that I didn't have much swelling. I got a bandage change and started my toe exercises. I... (149 replies)
