... ical shoe to wear for the first 2 weeks, then I will gradually start walking and wearing gym shoes. Resumption of full activities by 6 weeks, all swelling to be gone by 6 weeks to 6 months. Had bunionectomy and Chevron osteotomies on both feet, but they were each done one year apart - I really can't imagine doing both feet at the same time. :eek: (Though with those surgeries I was able to bear weight in walking cast, so nothing like the surgery I'm currently recovering from - 6 weeks...
