When I had my last bunionectomy 2 years ago I had one external pin (that stuck through the top of my foot) and I think that came out at about 4 weeks. I eventually had the internal pin removed also (last Feb) because it was right at my instep and certain shoes went right over it and made my foot swell. Good luck... (2 replies)
... day. The Scar Light has made the scar almost invisible. You really have to look closely to see that I have it there. What is left is the bump of the scar from internal, it looks a bit mishapen on the outside but not so terribly bad...just not pretty like my other foot. ... (90 replies)
