... Hello everyone, just making my first post and trying to contribute any info I can on my lapidus bunionectomy. I'm 6' Male 195 lbs, had the surgery 5/16 for my left foot, it's been 4 days and the pain is finally subsiding. Most painful day was the second day.

... Hi! I had my surgery yesterday (Modified McBride) and I just wanted some ideas on how to manage pain and get through the next couple of weeks. I was given Vicodin, but I have to be careful with it because it makes me very nauseous. They have just the gauze and Ace bandages (with a sock) on it, and I wear the fashionable velcro shoe when I get up to go to the bathroom.
