I know what you mean about the weight loss, I thought I was going to pile on the pounds but I have actually dropped a dress size..a combination of antibiotics reducing my appetite/ burning extra calories on the crutches/ and not fancying getting up to take a trip to the refrigerator so often! For 5 weeks, I was on 2 different types of antibiotics in massive IV equivalent doses (the maximum they can prescribe) Honestly they made me feel so ill I thought I was dying at one point!.
