... Orthotics, literally, RUINED my feet, so I suggest you not wear them and get into some strengthening exercises. One has weak arches due to weak muscles. My feet were flatter than a pancake, but I have learned how to strengthen the whole foot and ankle and I now have a nice arch. ... (11 replies)

... The worst thing for your feet is orthotics and I speak for experience. All they do, is make the muscles all through your legs and feet much weaker. I also had flat feet and very weak ankles for years as well as bunions, which are caused by misalignment and can be straightened out with a good therapist. ... (19 replies)
