To try and figure out what it is I would suggest going to google and start searching under images for various foot issues; corns, bunions, cysts etc. By no means is this the perfect solution to your issue but if you can figure out what it is then maybe you can find a way to get some relief. ... i had mine done 2 weeks ago, got 2 pins in there. I was a bit worried that the big toe is leaning over loads so started wearing my night splint. I dont know if it will help. Doc seems pleased though. I was wondering how soon i can put the vit e oil on, did your doc say? i also bought silicone pads so will use them when i get them (2 replies)

I am sooo glad i had both done at the same time!! but i totally get that people don't- we are all different!!- 3.5 months on- I am doing GREAT!!! My feel look amazing!! I can't remember seeing them look this straight!!
Still waiting to get into heels (bloody swelling) all be it minor, but enought swelling to stop me from pushing my foot it -

... I attended a wedding reception 4 weeks post op and resulted in wearing a very long dress that covers my feet with my surgical shoes still on. haha.

I have had two different procedures that what you had and did one foot at a time, so I can't say for sure, but I am 15 days post op from chevron bunion correction on right foot and am going back to work on Monday. I am walking "ok" in the boot, not too much swelling, minimal pain. I use one crutch to help get around but am walking fully on the foot (in the boot)

I'm so desperate to have surgery on my bunions, they are so painful, not just when I walk but also spontaneously..not to mention unsightly. I can't even fit into most of my shoes anymore.
I'm looking into the minimal incision surgery because they can book me in much faster than conventional, but are there any drawbacks to it? I am weary since my OHIP won't even... (1 replies)
