... Also, if you have had your foot down for too long during the day, your foot will "speak" to you about it's displeasure at night when you most want to sleep. That burning sensation may mean that your foot is protesting and just wants no activity. ... (5 replies)

... That's interesting. I just had a few more procedures done to my left foot, and one of them was the achilles lengthening. I have had pain, burning & extreme tenderness in my toes & forefoot since surgery and I just attributed it to the fusion that was done in my mid foot---hmm...maybe not. As the swelling goes down, it seems to be decreasing, so maybe it's attributed to that. (2 replies)

... Hi, I had an All American flat foot/pttd/accessory navicular surgery 16 days ago and yesterday I had my staples removed, X-rays, and traded my splint for a cast. The cast felt tight going on but the nurse said it should be and that if I elevate the swelling will go down and it won't feel as tight.
