... think it depends on each person as to how painful the weight baring is in the beginning. Mine was aweful BUT I had to have my hardware taken out 1 week after the fusion do to a malfunction and have it redone.....I ended up with a big hematoma and a large open wound.........this was partially to blame for my pain. ...
