... The first surgery for a neuroma removal should be from the top. Should there be a stump neuroma later or some other issue that requires going back in at the same spot, that procedure should be done from the bottom (per my surgeon who is world class, former editor of the foot & ankle journal, foot guy for the one time most aclaimed sports med practice in the country, etc). ...
