I am unable to carry out my daily work routine with the pain I'm currently in...but don't want long term side effects like the one you mentioned above. ... l read of at least the tendon area. The radiologist says there is no evidence of a tear or split, just lots of inflammation. So the ortho says he wants to do a cortisone shot now that he's verified there is no tendon damage. I had one before for bursitis in my knee and it worked magic, so I agree. ... (240 replies)
