... Susan, I am over 1 year post-op for fusion. I had a very positive experience with my fusion, however it is fair to say that every doctor approached this procedure slightly different. I did not find it particularly painful, I took my pain meds probably for the first five days and then used Tylenol, etc. as needed. You will be out of commission for at least six weeks,...
