Does anybody know of a condition that could cause the following symptoms ?
Muffled Hearing - can hear day to day sounds as normal but TV is difficult to hear as are voices, also certain sounds sound much louder than normal.
Some voices sound distorted - as if the person has sucked the air from a helium balloon.

... You may have moved a plug of earwax into a smaller part of the ear canal, which now is stuck and blocking your hearing. It would be best to have your ear looked at, but in lieu of that you could use a bulb syringe to try to flush out any wax. ... If you're that nervous it's best to go have it checked. When I fell in January and came to after losing consciousness I knew something was wrong with my hearing. My regular doctor and the ER doctor both said it was just from the swelling, I'm having surgery this week to try and realign the bones in my middle ear that I dislocated when I fell.
