After about 4 days I started hearing bits through the packing, at 2 weeks i got the packing out and things seemed really loud but muffled (also due to the fact that the surgeon fill my ear with cream after he pulled the packing out). ... It will most likely be wax in your ears that's causing your problem. Put a few drops of olive oil in your ears each day for a week and see how they it is. If not wax then you should see a doctor to rule out any other medical issues to do with your ears. Good luck! (1 replies)
