... If you're that nervous it's best to go have it checked. When I fell in January and came to after losing consciousness I knew something was wrong with my hearing. My regular doctor and the ER doctor both said it was just from the swelling, I'm having surgery this week to try and realign the bones in my middle ear that I dislocated when I fell.

After about 4 days I started hearing bits through the packing, at 2 weeks i got the packing out and things seemed really loud but muffled (also due to the fact that the surgeon fill my ear with cream after he pulled the packing out).

... It will most likely be wax in your ears that's causing your problem. Put a few drops of olive oil in your ears each day for a week and see how they it is.
If not wax then you should see a doctor to rule out any other medical issues to do with your ears.
