.So sorry my iPad cut me off. In any case would so appreciate any input anyone can suggest. BTW have quit smoking, eat less and well. It's simply the darn shortness of breath. It makes no sense that never felt it while exercising in the cardo rehab gym. Thanks in advance.

The bulk of my message got "lost". Had a heart attack and subsequent angioplasty with 4 stents 7 months ago...all fine until recently when I started having shortness of breath when simply doing chores around house. When exercise all is fine. No shortness. Cardiologist thinks it's stress and anxiety at home, but I can't figure this out. All tests are fine. Scared!!h

Panic and anxiety attacks can cause really bizarre episodes of shortness of breath. It is almost like your own body is trying to scare you. I would insist on a stress test. If it is okay and your still having problems then you may need to try a anti-depressant like Cymbalta etc.. Keep in mind it may make the anxiety worse the first few weeks until it kicks in. I started having horrible panic attacks after getting a CT Scan that showed I had a high calcium score. Cymbalta worked wonders though it was rough in the beginning.
