PVC daily
Jul 16, 2014
I am wondering if anyone else has had the same symptoms as me.
I am 31 years old and have had an under active thyroid for more than 13 years. I have 4 kids and during my last pregnancy ( youngest son just turned 1) I started have trouble breathing and a squeezing feeling in my chest. In and out of the hospital for the last 2 months of my pregnancy. My bp was recorded at 88/38 and hr 56 BPM.
Fast forward over the last year... Still having ALOT of palpitations and unable to do exercise. Extremely tired all the time.i seen my cardiologist 3 months ago and she did a dobutamine stress test on me 2 months ago which was normal except she noted that I was having a lot of extra beats and a lot of skipped beats during the test. I am scheduled to see her Dec 1 and will be doing a 72 hr holter monitor before my appt. I started on Prozac 6 weeks ago and noted less palpitations for the first month but now they are back full force. Daily I am having these PVCs and have noted my heart rate jump from 61 BPM to 115bpm and lasts about 10-20 seconds and drops back down to in the 50s. This happens several times a day. I was told by my family physician that I suffer from bradycardia (results from a 24hr holter). I try ativan when I have symptoms of PVCs and it takes the edge off but the symptoms are still there. I am wondering if anyone out there can shed some light on what can be causing these. Thanks

I get PVCs almost daily too! However, no shortness of breath.
The Dr said they were benign.
They are scary like your heart is going to stop!
Is your heartbeat also visible on your chest?
