I don't take the potassium anymore because it wasn't making a difference anyhow.
I take no meds, other then the occassional ibuprofen that I ONLY take for menstrual cramps, so I take about one of those a month.

... To further elaborate on this. When your blood is pooling away from your heart - either in your limbs or abdomen(GI tract specifically), there's less in circulation. Less blood going to your heart and to your brain, so your heart tries to pump harder and faster = palpitations.
