... Hi! I had heart palpitations and it ended up being anemia (low iron). Are you taking iron pills? Anemia can also make you feel very tired. You could have your Dr run a blood test for this. In the meantime, I would start taking high doses of daily iron! (12 replies)

... When you say your B12 is normal, do you know the actual value? When was it last tested? If your B12 was below 450 then it needs to be investigated further. The scale doctors currently use is way too low, neurological damage can occur below 450. Doctors who don't know this will just tell you it is normal, which is why you *must* get the number. ... Have you been checked for iron deficiency? Having anemia (low iron, low red blood cells) can cause all the symptoms I described above, especially after child birth and breast feeding. You might want to set up an appointment to go see your MD and let him know your symptoms. He will probably prescribe a potent iron supplement. Anxiety is probably due to you wondering and...
