... I had the palpitations before the anemia diagnosis and they just worsened after the anemia diagnosis. ... (5 replies)
... Is it the anemia or the beta blocker that is aggrevating the palpitations? ... (5 replies)
... Hi Pika, Was your episode preceded by any emotional events? Your story is quite similar to mine (look for the thread "broken-heart syndrome" to see my story) and I too was told that I had an infarction but my arteries were clean. They said they didn't know what my heart attack was caused by but left it as an oh-well just live with it and you should be o.k., anyway, I had... (6 replies)

... My anemia has corrected by infusion. No one knows where I lost my blood! Just hopefully it won't drop again. All drs said anemia is nothing to do with heart. It stresses the heart only. ... (6 replies)
... Hi Susan Kay, Good to hear from you again, although the medical problems aren't cordially accepted. Have you been sleeping well at night? The distribution of blood goes to the vital areas and... (6 replies)

... Does anybody happen to know which comes first, do they run concurrently or are they totally separate thingies? Is the grey-pasty skin from the heart failure or the anemia? I am figuring the white fingernail beds, pale lips and eyes and blue eyeballs (the part that is supposed to be white) are all the anemia. What about the coldness in my hands and feet, blue toes and loss... (4 replies)
... I've been experiencing bone pain, don't know if it's a thing but it feels like it comes from inside, no muscles ache to touch. Sometimes the pain is acute, sudden and localized, and it goes away after some seconds or a minute, sometimes it just feels like my arm/leg (sometimes both) is overtired, like i've done too much weight carring, and i haven't, and it goes on with this... ... Sounds likePVCs! A skip followed by a hard strong beat! I get this too and have had them my whole life! Had the EKGs and Holter monitors, but told they are benign, not to worry about. I also have an athletic heart and it is very powerful and visible. Is your heart visible beating on your chest? Jason (6 replies)
... Hi! I had heart palpitations and it ended up being anemia (low iron). Are you taking iron pills? Anemia can also make you feel very tired. You could have your Dr run a blood test for this. In the meantime, I would start taking high doses of daily iron! (12 replies)
... When you say your B12 is normal, do you know the actual value? When was it last tested? If your B12 was below 450 then it needs to be investigated further. The scale doctors currently use is way too low, neurological damage can occur below 450. Doctors who don't know this will just tell you it is normal, which is why you *must* get the number. My B12 was 196, just barely... (14 replies)
