... With the holter you are wired up like crazy with electrodes and the device is the size of a tape recorder. The event monitor is much less, two electrodes and a pager size device. The holter is usually used for 24-48 hrs, the event monitor about a month, give or take. Nothing invasive about either. I don't know the costs as I have ins. coverage. (3 replies)
