... Alison, I do not think it is anxiety. That's just a very simple way out for your doctors, who mostly have no idea of what it could be. Medicine is just not ready for the evaluation of the kind of disease you are describing. I am male, 38, slim build. Very similar (if not identical) symptoms started 4 years ago also on me. They never left. I still have a horrible time... (6 replies)

Try to eat lighter and a little bit at a time. I found that more frequent smaller meals have helped reduce my palpitations. As for exericise, keep doing it but nothing too strenuous because... It lasted several minutes and slowly subsided but it was very strong. No pain or breathlessness. I don't recall any dreaming prior and didn't wake up in a panic or... (1 replies)
... If it were me, I would look into Asthma and either Diabetes or Insulin Resistance, to either rule them in or out. How is your diet? Is it high in carbs? Asthma is a very complex disease. There are few medical professionals who really understand the variations of Asthma, IMHO. Asthma can go from very mild breathing issues, with or without wheezing, either constant... (3 replies)

... Alison, one possibility is that you have become environmentally sensitive, also known as Multiple Chemical Sensitivity (MCS). If so, then normal, everyday things that never bothered you before, are now bothering you. Usually there is some trigger, such as a bad cold, or flu, or a chemical exposure, or an infection, or even a pregnancy, that triggers the immune system to... (6 replies)

... Greetings! Yes, I would stay away from tea, replace tea with water and add a bit more to see if the heart rate slows with more water. A person needs at least 6.25 glasses of water a day or more.
