... Hi Joe, Cholesterol is not too bad at all. Plavix is to keep your blood thin. Plavix is expensive. Why he didn't just prescribe 100mg of Aspirin I do not know. Perhaps you are on it already? Crestor is a very strong statin to control and lower your bad cholesterol (LDL). For me Crestor would not be first choice. It is not the best tolerated statin. He's put you on a beta... (1 replies)
