... I had heart flutters really bad for about 5-6 days in a row... This was very recently. I was really freaking out over them. I thought there was something seriously wrong. I wondered if I would wake up in the morning when I'd go to sleep! I am female and 26. ... Caffeine, lack of sleep and dehydration are all common causes. And I'm guilty of all three being in my life on a regular basis, and as such so are palpitations, PVCs and other irregular heartbeats. Stress definitely doesn't help, but far as I know it's a lesser cause than these three I mentioned, except perhaps in extreme cases. Alcohol and smoking can be culprits as well.... (1 replies)

... I did notice when i drank coffee i got them bad! especially at night time. I dont think you gave yourself long enough without caffeine to see a difference. someone told me drinking caffeine for a long amount of time would have after effects for awhile. ... (10 replies)

... I wouldn't worry too much right now. If they get more intense or more often, you can have it checked. I was having over 200 a day and it turned out, after a stress test with an echo, that it wasn't a big deal. Mine was from stress. We pinpointed when it started and it was a very bad time at my job.
