... The only benefit with the calcium channel blockers could be if you have asthma. I have to take the ccb. I'm glad to hear you are getting use to the meds. Can you drive? I'm just starting the the ccb for the second time. I tried the Beta Blocker but they effected my breathing. (4 replies)

... Alice, I just want to say, that i have a constant feeling of anxiety on this Med. Did you have it before you started cardizem? I'm thinking of going back to a BB. I know what you mean about life not being the same after heart problems. I was in a fog for a good 4 months when i found out that I had a serious heart defect. ... Thanks Sunny and Miranda for your replies. I seemed to be getting used to the cardizem, except for occasional dizziness(which I hope, will also go away). It was a hard couple of weeks but things do seem to be settling down. I just need help with the panic attacks and anxiety. I did make an appointment to see someone to help me deal with this too.(That was not easy either).... (4 replies)

... Thank you very much!! I do diet and exercise. Have eaten very well for the last 2 years with no effect. That is why I KNOW there is another factor here. My BP has always been on the low side - even b4 BBs. So, I think I will give my Doc a shout out and see what she says about trying this. Thanks again!! (2 replies)
