I do recommend that you check out the thread called "Tagamet (cimetidine) to treat herpes" - Tagamet seems to be helpful in treating herpes. It's an over the counter heartburn medication. I'm wondering if, as a heatburn medication, it might help with preventing gas as well?? Just a though... (6 replies)
... Well for some stupid reason I just didn't start taking "tagamet" when this rash started up and it was just full blown when I started to take it. Don't ask me? So when I did take it, it really didn't do anything noticeable. I have had wonderful luck when I start taking it right away. ... I am not sure yet if I will try it, as it is still a drug. I am also trying a few other things right now, number one being ozone therapy treatments. I would like to know what thing I am doing is actually working. If I take too many things at the same time I may not know what really helped me.
