HIV Rash Symptoms?
Dec 17, 2010
Dear Sir,

I am male 29, I had 2 exposure one in 1st Aug, 09, it was protected but condom broken with CSW in Thailand... And my 2nd exposure on 2nd Feb,10, that was protected but her period was going on so i notice some blood on condom.†

Symptoms:-†
About 2 month later (after 1st exposure) i got fever for 2 days and from Jan 10, I got new symptoms like sore troth, dry cough,†joint pain & masale pain, back pain, neck pain, RASHES (On my face, chest, stomach, hands and upper leg its look like same as hiv rash picture i found on net), †white tough & recently diarrhea for 4 days (Gone after taken Medicin).

†Tests:-
1) Oct 09 - Hiv Antibody test result- Negative.
2) Jan 10 - Hiv Antibody test result- Negative.
3) April 10 -†Hiv Antibody test result- Negative.
4) June 10 -†Hiv Antibody test result- Negative.
5) July 10 -†Hiv Antibody test result- Negative.
6) Sep 10 -†Hiv Antibody test result- Negative.
7) Nov 10 - HIV Western Blot test result - All Negative.

My current symptoms on 16 Dec, 10:- Rashes (i have 4 dumps on chest, 3 on both hands, 3 on upper leg and 2 on stomach) its red in color and later when its raids its became dark red/brown... its come and last for week and gone again after 2-3 days its comes.

My wife current symptoms on 16 Dec, 10:- Same kind of rashes on her shoulders, chest, back and upper leg.

1) http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC1865892/ †what are your comment on this Early Identification of Seronegative Human Immunodeficiency Virus Type 1 Infection with Severe Presentation... Is it possible in my case?

2) After 6 HIV antibody (Elisa & EIA) and one Western Blot Test beyond window period (after 15 month of 1st exposure and 8 month of 2nd exposure) it is possible for false negative in my case?

3) Are my RASHES, diarrhea & other symptoms sound like Hiv?

4) Is it possible to get same type Rashes in 2 different people... like Me and my wife get same type of rashes in HIV?

5) Should i need antigen or PCR test to be a 100% sure?

6) As per my doctor there is no chance for false negative after western blot (My result was 100% reliable) is it true?

7) Should i consider my self 100% HIV free and also consider no chance of false negative in my case? ††

Thanks, BB
well, i think that the test are accurate..i would get the pcr test to be sure, because your symptoms are kinda vivid...but...Once the others here read this they are gonna say that yur test was conclusive, which i honestly believe it is too....that far along...its highly unlikely to get a false negative. i would put it behind me...have you asked your doc about the rash?

if you cannot accept you are hiv negative with all of thoese tests results
i doubt there is anything anyone can say to
convince you that you HIV NEGATIVE.
it only took ONE test to find it in me
anything besides hiv could be causing your rashes
good luck

i tested positive in less then 3 weeks from when i got infected.

the one thing people don't seem to grasp is
if you are getting symptoms from hiv
you will test positive,no matter what ifs ands or buts!
if you test negative and still have symptoms
it means you do not have hiv
it really is that simple
the tests used today are that good!
@bb0702: You SEVERELY overtested over this incident- you only needed the first test. If you cannot accept that you are HIV negative despite all of those tests, then you may want to consider talking with a therapist.

Hi there,

This as been done before on this forum but it is worth, again, putting into perceptive the odds.

1. 99% - chances of missing infection 1/100
2. 99% - chances of missing infection 1/100
3. 99% - chances of missing infection 1/100
4. 99% - chances of missing infection 1/100
5. 99% - chances of missing infection 1/100
6. 99% - chances of missing infection 1/100
7. 99% - chances of missing infection 1/100.

So given that your odds of actually contracting HIV from full unprotected sex, which you didn't have, are around about 1/1000. Means the absolute minimum odds of you actually having HIV and it not being detected through the bank of tests you have had are .....................

1/1000 x 1/100 x 1/100 x 1/100 x 1/100 x 1/100 x 1/100 x 1/100.

Means the odds of you actually having HIV and having all the tests you have had and it not being detected are about 100000000000000000 (one thousand billion) to 1. Not quite zero but pretty close I would say.

Well only belive in test results, the amount you had its certainly not HIV :), thats the good news.

Rashs, well can be down to stess, sweating, food etc etc. Try an antihystimie, but rashes happen to us all from time to time. I get one on my shoulders for no reason???

Anyway your HIV -, thats the good news,

Regards

Apollo

The chances of your results being anything other than negative are about one thousand billion to one.

Regards Kevin.

how many of these "doctors" are real???
did they attend a real medical school ?
or do they have some diploma worth about the same as toilet paper?

i have to ask because it is a huge problem in india!
they have a very bad epidemic of tb there
and it is caused by phoney doctors ....
what makes it easy is you don't need a prescription to get drugs there
so any fool can tell you go get this...
alot of these fake doctors take every dime from people and the
people are sicker then when they first met them!!!
that is why i tell you to go to the free government hospital
where you will get the proper care or have a doctor
prove he was properly trained.
the correct care will fix that rash..
good luck
