... Well smit has listed a few above. Its very hard to say with out testing for them. I guess a CBC ( complete blood count ) will test you body for a virus. You could test for all STD's to rule them out, but end of the day if your HIV is negative, your CBC is fine and you feel well in yourself then put it behind you and move on (4 replies)

... Generally infections show at least some differences on blood tests therefore it's quite possible that their would be some abnormality in your routine blood tests such as a CBC. Speaking for myself I had elevated WBC counts at 2 weeks post exposure as well as 9 weeks and 10 weeks but the count was within the normal range at 13 weeks(their were no other CBC's in between )....
