I also get this problem, especially at night. I have thyroid, adrenal and blood sugar problems, and i find it gets worse the worse i generally feel - or the lower my blood sugar is. I know thyroid problems can cause a warm feeling in the face, have you been tested for that? (2 replies)

My problem also occurs at night but is not affected by mood.
I have not had my thyroid tested but am seeing the doctor on the 6th Jan so I will talk about it then.
