... Ariesladi25, thanks for your response :) I think the CT scan of the adrenal is the next step for me. I was really thinking I had PCOS (I have the facial hair thing too) but they did an ultrasound of my ovaries and I just got the results back today. It was normal, so I guess they didn't find any cysts? I'm thinking they're now leaning toward an adrenal problem. :( My gyno... (5 replies)
... Hello All. When I was 15, I was diagnosed with PCOS. Since I started my periods they have ALWAYS been irregular. It wasnt until my 20th birthday that I began to experience MAJOR emotional hysteria, which is now coupled with very random but excruciatingly painful abdominal and back pain, Hot flases, Anxiety, and insomnia. I do know that these are the baseline symptoms for... (0 replies)

... Excess prolactin along with high estrogen will cause breast growth. I had that problems for years, but finally found out & now have it under control. Many BC methods will cause excess estrogen. Many anti-depressants will mess up the hormone balance & kill the sex drive. With all the hormones in the food chain, the different meds that mess up hormones, I think the... (11 replies)

... Thanks for you reply! What other types of growths can be on your pituitary gland? (11 replies)
... I have no idea about the breasts growing. They are not lactating? Maybe it is just building up in there?? I have no clue on that one. If you do have a pituitary adenoma that is causing excessive prolactin, it is called a prolactinoma. They have medicines to try and in many cases they will shrink the tumor. So, it may eliminate your problems... I don't know much about... (11 replies)
... Hi annemv, Thanks for your response! I actually went to the doc today...it's amazing when you say I think I have strept throat that you can get in the same day! This doctor finally listened to me and tested my hormones. I won't find out what the levels are until next week. I haven't had them tested in 2 years because I can't find a doc who will for some reason. I haven't had... (11 replies)
