... All I can tell you is I had the NovaSure procedure today, which is endometrial ablation, and feel great. No pain from it at all. From what my OB tells me he has decreased hysterectomies by 60 percent with the NovaSure. Just do a search and you can find all kinds of info on it. Yes it works for endometriosis too. ... endo feeds off of estrogen so they take that away and hope that it will shrink. This is often done in preparation for a surgery to remove the endo.
