Did you have your cervix removed? If you still have your cervix you can still have bleeding, mostly the light spotting that you describe. Call your Dr and let us know what he says. (2 replies)

Yes I have tried BCP but had to stop as I started getting migraines with aura and the risk of stroke was too high.
My ultrasound showed fibroids the largest one is one inch in size. I have been offered the 3 monthly injection or the mirena so not sure what to do next. I was hoping that all this was going to stop on its own.

... Have you tried birth control pills? Those work well for a lot of women with heavy bleeding. And if you're in perimenopause, you probably wouldn't need to take them for very long. If your iron is low, hopefully you're taking iron. Taking it with vitamin C will improve absorption.
