... In addition to the antihistamines like Benadryl, H2 blockers, like Pepcid or Ranitidine do help. You might ask Dr for a RX for a mast cell inhibitor, like Singulair, and be sure to get anti-thyroid antibodies checked on blood, as autoimmune thyroiditis (Hashimoto's) can be associated with chronic hives, as well as lupus.
