... I have gluten intolerance and suffered for 25 years before a diagnosis. What makes it so hard to diagnose is the diversity of the symptoms. My symptoms were indigestion (the main one), tingling of the fingertips, fuzzy brain, and itching inside my ears. ... What I've learned this past year is that nausea can be caused by too slowly digesting food. If the stomach and GI tract don't digest the food fast enough, it will sit in there and basically rot and cause nausea, gas, and/or bloating. Gastroparesis is the s low emptying of the stomach.
