... Whohov So sorry I haven't checked the boards lately! Been sick with stomach flu! Anyway. I've had 3 ivig treatments and haven't had any problems with them. I would advise you to take it slow so you have less chance of side effects. When are you due for the first one? Are you seeing an immunologist? They have different brands and amounts. Make sure you find out how much you... (3 replies)
... mamu710, I am sorry that you have been sick for so long. It is very frustrating. I hope you get some answers and help at your appointment. There does not seem to be much information on immunoglobulins from my preliminary search. I am waiting to hear back from the doctor who ordered this test to see what she thinks. Please post about how your appointment goes. (9 replies)
... mamu710, again I thank you! You have been very helpful. Did the IVIG make a difference in how you feel? It all sounds very complicated. It seems like nothing is done if other IG levels are normal. Can't you see the doctor before six months? (9 replies)

I have not heard back from their office so I don't know what they will want to do. I wonder if there is a connection? What immunoglobulin deficiency is IVIG used for? (9 replies)

Would they cover this? I have good insurance but who knows. I tried to find out but couldn't so I just went and got it. The blood they use is screened very well I've been told. They have to... ... Basically, I'm having lots of trouble breathing, plus infections. I don't know how many I will need. I will find out from my immunologist whom I will see on the 30th. I don't know much about primary immune deficiencies. I'm pretty stressed about it. Can we live normal lives? Is our prognosis good? Also, were you concerned about receiving blood from Lord knows... ... Hi. My name is Frank. I read your postings. And you are the only person with a similar issue. I have IgG subclass deficiencies - 3 out of 4. I'm sick alot and I have severe asthma. I will probably need IVIG every month for the rest of my life. I am very scared. Can you tell me how bad it is? And can I get diseases from it? Thank you. You can email me if you'd like...
