As for the bed rest, I never asked my RE why they 'prescribe' 3 days post-transfer... but I did a search on pubmed and none of the studies showed that bed rest (which was typically measured as between 1-24 hours post-transfer) had any effect on success rates. ... Hi & welcome to the board. You should find lots of support & info here. Implantation typically takes place within 48 hours of a 5 day transfer. Cramps are very normal. Try not to get discouraged if you think your period is coming. A lot of the signs can go either way. As hard as it is to wait, that's really all you can do. And try to stay positive.
