... Hi Carisa, I did an IUI w/clomid last month and am doing it again now for IUI #2. I was ovulating naturally too but my RE told me clomid would help my egg(s) grow better and be stronger. I did only produce one follicale last month on the clomid IUI and won't find out about this time until 11/21. But a friend of mine who goes to the same RE produced 2 follicals one month and... ... I also ovulate and tried Clomid (but apparently my follicles don't get quite large enough regularly for a mature egg when not on meds). I did 3 rounds of Clomid, and with the 3rd cycle, I did my first IUI. Then I moved on to injectables and I am on my 3rd IUI cycle (2nd on injectables). Clomid does help your follies get bigger faster, and usually produce more. Good luck. :) (9 replies)
... of miscarriage. I hope that made sense to you all. Another words Dr's don't always know when miss X has a miscarriage she might have one before she even knows that she is PG. ... (9 replies)

... I ovulate on my own as well, but my Dr. put me on clomid to produce more eggs for my Dh sperm. ... (9 replies)
... more chance of success. I wonder how it would cause more miscarriages. Maybe because Clomid and IUI can slightly increase the risk of multiples, which in itself raises the risk of miscarriage. I'm a little concerned now. ... (9 replies)
... Has anyone who ovulates naturally been put on clomid or something like it when doing the IUI's to try and up their chances of a successful IUI? ... (9 replies)
... There is no connections with miscarriages and clomid. I had been concerned about it and researched and spoke with my doctors about it and they said there is no increase. I am curious where your doctor is getting his/her information from? cmarie (9 replies)

... I have been trying to conceive with no luck. I have been to the dr to get my mucus checked and he told me I was ovulating and that i needed to have intercourse that day. Well I did but still no pregnancy. He did mention that i next step will be Clomid. ... (7 replies)
... Thanks, that's great! I think I will look into doing that. My current doctor says he does not usually do that because it can cause more miscarraiges. I have never been pregnant and we have been trying for so long. We will be moving on to IVF in the beginning of the year, before we do that I'd like to give the IUI's the best chance of working. :dizzy: Carisa (9 replies)

... So the doctor told us, this month, try on our own. If it doesn't work, then next month, take clomid and we will do the IUI. ... (1 replies)
... I'm a bit nervous about increasing your doze of clomid. You wrote in previous posts that you know you were ovulating last month as well. As far as I know, the only case they increase the doze of Clomid is when the woman doesn't ovulate. ... (3 replies)

... d midcycle so they can see whether you're developing a good follicle. If your follicle is over 20 mm they'll probably give you an HCG injection to force you into ovulating during the next 36 hours, and you'll be scheduled for bloodwork a week afterwards to see if you actually did ovulate. ... ... me that it was "nothing." Your doctor should look at your insulin levels as well, as they can impact fertility. You definitely need an ultrasound if you haven't already had one. Just "feeling" the ovaries doesn't do it. ... (16 replies)
... gyn, who did bloodwork to see if I was ovualting. I went on around day 21 of my cycle to check my progesterone level, I was not ovulating on my own and I began clomid. I took clomid each month, going in on day 14 to see if I had follicles. ... (33 replies)
