Finish the pack.. "hudge" was a typo -- "JUDGE" was what I meant.... Either way, finish the course, it will help....

Think of it like this.. when you have effusion/infection, there is swelling in your tube that connects your ear to your throat. This tube is really narrow, so when you get sick, and the pressure in the ear is negative, it sucks fluid from the surrounding tissue and fills p that tube. This fluid can be thick or thin.. but it blocks your ear.... This is where you get ear fullness or muffled hearing... Now when you take the steroids, if there is any remaining inflammation in the tibe, it will decrease that swelling allowing it to open more, and when the pressure gets a little back to normal, it will drain.. (SLOWLY), but it will drain..... that I believe is your first step.. get rid of the effusion in your middle ear. So steroids will help.. If you are throwing up, maybe your not tolerating, but it does take some time for the steroids to work.........
