Hello all

I woke up one morning with this incredible pressure and roaring sound in my left ear. I went to an ENT and he checked my ear and said there was a strand on hair in there. he got it out but the pressure didn't go away. I had a hearing test and he said that I had moderate low level hearing loss. He also said that I have menier's and put me on a steroid for 5 days. The hearing came back and the pressure is gone. Is it possible that the strand of hair caused the temporary hearing loss? this was in Oct 2009 and I have not had any symptoms since.
