... From the few numbers you quote, it does sound as though she is stable. I know that creatinine can go up with age, and gfr go down. She has a long, long way to go before any intervention for kidney issues is required. To give you a reference, I didn't go on dialysis until my creatinine was about 8. ... (2 replies)

... w long you can last. If you stay in otherwise good health, you could last a long time. If you catch some sort of virus or flubug, it could push you over the edge and you could end up going on dialysis on an emergency basis. That is what happened to me. I felt fine. ... (5 replies)
