... Kimberly...... Try teaching her the name of the item she's pointing to. Let's say she wants milk. Point to it and say "milk", tell her to say "milk". Repeat several times until she tries to say the word. It may be that she hasn't had to talk because she gets what she wants by just pointing and grunting. ... I don't have any great advice to give you, but I did want to comment. I work in child care and I've noticed over the years there are more and more children who can't pronounce R. I was apparently like this when i was younger, i dont remember personally but when i was looking into if i was dyslexic or not there was a questionair that my mother had to fill in and all the symptoms pointed to early dyslexia eg bottom crawling down the stairs instead of walking, i had speach therapy untill i was six (i dont remember this eaither!) i could sound out a word...
